【天草市】天草キリシタンの美術と史実

天草キリシタン館では、
「天草四郎陣中旗」が国の重要文化財に指定されてから60周年を記念し、企画展『天草キリシタンの美術と史実～天草四郎陣中旗と原城～』を開催いたします。

本展では、美術史の視点から陣中旗を展示し、また原城跡の発掘調査結果や資料を通じて、島原・天草一揆における一揆軍の実態についても紹介します。

【Amakusa City】Christian Art and History

At the Amakusa Christian Museum, we are holding a special exhibition titled “Amakusa Christian Art and History: The Battle Standard of Amakusa Shiro and Hara Castle” to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the “Battle Standard of Amakusa Shiro” being designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan.

This exhibition will display the battle standard from the perspective of art history and introduce findings from archaeological excavations at Hara Castle, as well as materials that reveal the true nature of the rebel army during the Shimabara-Amakusa Rebellion.

天草基督教博物馆将举行特别展览《天草基督教的艺术与历史～天草四郎战旗与原城～》，以纪念“天草四郎战旗”被指定为日本重要文化财产60周年。

本次展览将从美术史的角度展示战旗，并通过原城遗址的发掘调查结果和资料，介绍岛原・天草一揆中一揆军的真实情况。
