【Aso Area】Shibasaburo Kitasato Digital Stamp Rally

Due to popular demand, the 2nd round of the stamp rally is here!

In celebration of the achievements of Dr. Shibasaburo Kitasato, known as the father of modern Japanese medicine and featured on the new 1,000-yen bill, we are hosting the second round of the stamp rally across the Aso region in Kumamoto.

Starting from Dr. Kitasato’s hometown of Oguni Town, the rally will take you through seven municipalities: Aso City, Minamioguni Town, Ubuyama Village, Takamori Town, Nishihara Village, and Minami-Aso Village.

Explore the beauty of Aso while collecting stamps at various locations!

Using your smartphone’s GPS, you can easily collect stamps at each spot. Plus, there are plenty of great prizes to be won!

• Visit 3 municipalities and enter a lottery to win Aso’s local products
• Visit all 7 municipalities and receive a “Kitasato Shibasaburo Original Pouch Bag” or “Aso Original Eco Bag”
• Visit all 23 spots and enter a lottery for a chance to win a “Kurokawa Onsen Accommodation Voucher” worth 30,000 yen
