八千代座を舞台に繰り広げられる「わ！太鼓街道 音楽祭り」では、地域の太鼓団体や伝統芸能のプロたちが一堂に会し、力強くも繊細なパフォーマンスを披露します。

山鹿中学校太鼓部や熊本市立必由館高校和太鼓部をはじめ、地域の太鼓保存会、菊陽武蔵剣豪太鼓、大津太鼓清流会など、さまざまな団体が集まり、太鼓の響きが八千代座に響き渡ります。

また、日本舞踊や童謡、子ども落語といった多彩なプログラムもお楽しみいただけます。

【Yamaga City】Wa! Taiko Kaido Music Festival Kumamoto Yamaga at Yachiyoza

A Festival of Music Resonating with the Spirit of Japan!

The “Wa! Taiko Kaido Music Festival” will be held at the Yachiyoza Theater, featuring local taiko drum groups and traditional performing arts professionals.

These groups will come together to captivate the audience with powerful yet delicate performances.

In addition to the Yamaga Junior High School Taiko Club and the Kumamoto City Hiyukan High School Taiko Club, various other groups, including local taiko preservation societies, Kikuyo Musashi Kenjo Taiko, and Otsu Taiko Seirukai, will gather for this spectacular event.

You can also enjoy a rich lineup of traditional Japanese dance, children’s songs, and kids’ rakugo performances.
