【五木村】写真でよみがえる かつての五木村 第2弾

1990年代、川辺川ダム建設計画の影響で揺れていた五木村を記録し続けたカメラマン、小崎宇一氏による写真展「写真でよみがえる かつての五木村」第2弾が開催されます。

小崎氏は、熊本放送で映像の仕事をしていた時期に五木村を撮り続けました。

今回の展示では、平成3年（1991年）の台風による被害での材木処理の様子や、現在は廃校となった小学校での運動会の風景など、当時の五木村の日常や出来事を捉えた貴重な写真が並びます。

【Itsuki Village】Reviving the Former Itsuki Village Through Photographs – Part 2

In the 1990s, during the turmoil caused by the Kawabe River Dam construction project, photographer Uichi Kozaki continued to document the village of Itsuki.

This photo exhibition, “Reviving the Former Itsuki Village Through Photographs” (Part 2), showcases his work. Kozaki, who was involved in television production at Kumamoto Broadcasting, captured the essence of Itsuki over the years.

The exhibition will feature photographs of timber processing after the damage caused by a typhoon in 1991, as well as scenes from a school sports day at a now-closed elementary school.

These photos provide a rare glimpse into the daily life and events of Itsuki Village at the time.
