【Yamagata City】23rd Yamagata Lantern Romance & Hundred Flowers and Hundred Colors

In the historically rich city of Yamagata, the annual winter festival will be held.

From February 7th to March 1st, every Friday and Saturday, the town will be illuminated by the enchanting lights of umbrella lanterns and bamboo lanterns, creating a magical atmosphere.

At Yachiyoza, the performance “Yamaga Fuzai Monogatari” will feature a collaboration of Yamaga Taiko drums and lantern dances.

The event will also include warm food stalls, live music performances, and many other highlights.

Additionally, you can enjoy extended hours at the Lantern Folk Art Museum and try your hand at making your own lanterns.
