【南小国町】黒川温泉 湯あかり

2012年の冬に始まり、今年で13年目を迎える「湯あかり」ライトアップ。

約300個の球体状の「鞠灯篭」と、約2メートルの高さを誇る筒状の「筒灯篭」が、自然の景観に溶け込むように配置され、毎日17時から21時半まで幻想的に灯ります。

湯あかりのシンボルである「鞠灯篭」は、9本の竹ひごを束ねて1つの球体を作り上げる、手作りの温もりが感じられる灯篭です。

これらは毎年、黒川温泉に携わる多くの人々の手によって、心を込めて作られています。

冷え込む冬の夜、温かい食事と露天風呂で体を温めた後、羽織をまとって温泉街へと足を運んでください。

丸くやわらかな鞠灯篭の光が、川を一面に照らし、幻想的な雰囲気を作り出します。

【Minamioguni Town】Kurokawa Onsen – Yu-akari

The “Yu-akari” light-up event started in the winter of 2012 and is now in its 13th year.

Approximately 300 spherical “Karakasa lanterns” and cylindrical “Tsutsu lanterns” about 2 meters tall are arranged to blend harmoniously with the natural landscape.

The lanterns are lit every evening from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM, creating a magical atmosphere.

On a chilly winter evening, after warming up with a delicious meal and an outdoor bath, put on your yukata and take a stroll through the hot spring town.

The soft, round light of the Karakasa lanterns spreads across the river, adding to the enchanting scenery.

Enjoy a peaceful winter moment in the satoyama, and spend a wonderful night with your loved ones.

The symbol of Yu-akari, the “Karakasa lantern,” is carefully crafted by bundling nine bamboo sticks into a single spherical shape.

These lanterns are handmade each year by many people involved with Kurokawa Onsen, who pour their heart and soul into creating them.
