小正月に伝統行事を楽しもう！南阿蘇で開催される「どんどや」
2025年1月13日（月・祝）、南阿蘇の伝統行事「どんどや」が道の駅あそ望の郷くぎの（ドッグラン下の畑）で開催されます。

この行事では、無病息災や五穀豊穣を祈り、竹や藁、正月飾りを焼く伝統行事です。

地域によっては「どんど焼き」「とんど焼き」などとも呼ばれ、今回の「どんどや」にはどなたでも参加できます。

また、正月飾りの回収が1月6日（月）からアクティビティセンター南阿蘇（道の駅あそ望の郷くぎの内）前に設置される回収ボックスで行われます。回収の際、金属類は必ず外してお持ちください。

当日は、甘酒やコーンスープの販売のほか、ビッグマシュマロ串を自分で焼ける体験も楽しめます。

さらに、先着10組限定で竹のワークショップも実施予定です。

参加者は「コキアー株運動」も通じて、無料でコキアの種をゲットできます！

さらに、同時開催として、**A.B.C-Z presents “そばフェス”**も行われ、そばのふるまいやマルシェも楽しめる盛りだくさんの内容です。

現地周辺では、どんどやのすすや火の粉が舞うことがあるため、衣服には十分注意してください。

特にポリエステル素材などは火の粉で溶けやすいのでご注意を。

また、畑の足元はぬかるんでいる可能性がありますので、長靴や汚れても良い靴でお越しいただくと安心です。

Celebrate the Traditional New Year’s Event in South Aso! “Dondoya” Festival
On January 13, 2025 (Monday, holiday), the traditional “Dondoya” event will be held at the Michi-no-Eki Aso Nozomi no Sato Kugino (field below the dog run) in South Aso.

This event celebrates the traditional custom of burning bamboo, straw, and New Year’s decorations to pray for good health and a bountiful harvest.

Known by various names such as “Dondo-yaki” or “Tondo-yaki” in different regions, the Dondoya in South Aso is open to everyone.

Additionally, New Year’s decorations can be dropped off for collection from January 6 (Monday) at the collection box in front of the Activity Center Minami Aso (within Michi-no-Eki Aso Nozomi no Sato Kugino).

Please remove any metal parts from the decorations before bringing them.

On the day of the event, visitors can enjoy sweet rice wine, corn soup, and have fun roasting their own giant marshmallow skewers over the fire.

Also, a bamboo workshop will be held for the first 10 groups.

Participants can also join the Kokia seed movement and receive free Kokia seeds.

Additionally, the A.B.C-Z presents “Soba Fest” will be held at the same time, where visitors can enjoy soba offerings and a market, making it a full and exciting day of activities.

Please be cautious of ashes and embers in the area.

Clothes may get dirty or damaged, especially synthetic fabrics like polyester (such as down jackets), which can melt easily from sparks.

Also, the ground may be muddy, so we recommend wearing rubber boots or shoes you don’t mind getting dirty.

在南阿苏庆祝传统的新年活动！”どんどや”节
2025年1月13日（星期一，节假日），南阿苏的传统活动”どんどや”将在道の駅あそ望の郷くぎの（狗跑下方的田地）举行。

此次活动通过焚烧竹子、稻草和新年装饰物，祈愿无病无灾和五谷丰收。

根据地区的不同，此活动也被称为”どんど烧”或”とんど烧”等，这次的”どんどや”活动对所有人开放。

另外，新年装饰的回收将从1月6日（星期一）开始，在活动中心南阿苏（道の駅あそ望の郷くぎの内）前设置回收箱。

请在携带装饰物时，务必去除其中的金属部分。

当天，活动现场将提供甜米酒、玉米汤，并且您可以自己烤制大棉花糖串。

此外，前10组参加者将有机会参与竹制品工作坊。

参与者还可以加入コキアー株运动，免费领取コキア种子。

同时，还将举行A.B.C-Z presents “荞麦节”，活动现场有荞麦免费品尝和集市等内容，确保您度过一个充实的活动日。
