【熊本市中央区】CAMKコレクション「それは いつかの だれかの どこかの 世界」

美術作品は、さまざまなきっかけで生まれています。

時代や社会の状況、作者自身の経験や感情、または問題意識などが影響を与えるのです。

しかし、私たちが作品を鑑賞する際には、私たち自身の立場や背景が、その作品の意味や感じ方に大きく関わってきます。

この展覧会では、熊本市現代美術館のコレクションの中から、4人の作家による作品を紹介します。

そして私たち「見る人々」にも焦点を当てます。

作品に表現される世界は一つだけではなく、見る人それぞれの中に「誰かが、どこかで感じた世界」が生まれることでしょう。

会場には、日本語、英語、そしてやさしい日本語の3つの言語でキャプションやガイドを用意しています。

【Kumamoto City Chūō Ward】CAMK Collection “A World of Someone, Somewhere, at Some Time”

Artworks are created through various triggers.

These include the times and social circumstances, the experiences and emotions of the artist, as well as their sense of awareness regarding certain issues.

However, the meaning and perception of the artwork can change depending on the viewer’s personal circumstances and background.

In this exhibition, we introduce the works of four artists from the collection of the Kumamoto City Museum of Contemporary Art.

We also shine a light on us, the viewers.

The world portrayed in the artwork is not a single one. Instead, within each viewer, a “world of someone, somewhere, at some time” is created.

At the venue, captions and guides are available in three languages: Japanese, English, and Easy Japanese.
