【熊本市西区】來迎院展 vol.3

熊本駅から徒歩10分の距離にあるお寺『來迎院』では、宗派を超えて他のお寺と連携し、書道サークルなども開催されている開かれたお寺です。

2020年より、その御本堂にて作品展を行ってきました。

展示される作品は、現代アート、イラスト、Manga Artなど、熊本県内外のアーティストによるものです。

お寺をテーマにしたさまざまな作品をぜひお楽しみください。

小さなお子様やご家族連れの来場も歓迎しており、子どもたちが身近にアートに触れる貴重な機会となれば嬉しく思います。

來迎院では普段、写経体験や写仏も行われており、まだ文字が書けないお子様も楽しんで参加しています。

また、熊本の活人形師・松本喜三郎の貴重な作品『観世音菩薩菩薩立像』が常設展示されていますので、普段お寺に訪れる機会が少ない方にもぜひご覧いただきたい場所です。

【Kumamoto City, Nishi Ward】Reiko-in Exhibition Vol. 3

Reiko-in Temple is located just a 10-minute walk from Kumamoto Station.

This open temple collaborates with other temples across different sects and hosts activities such as calligraphy circles.

Since 2020, an exhibition has been held in its main hall.

The exhibition features works from artists both inside and outside of Kumamoto Prefecture, including contemporary art, illustrations, and Manga Art.

We invite you to enjoy the diverse artworks inspired by the temple.

Families with young children are also welcome, and we hope that this exhibition provides children with more opportunities to experience art from a young age.

Reiko-in Temple regularly hosts experiences like calligraphy and Buddhist statue copying, where even children who cannot write yet enjoy participating.

The temple also has a permanent exhibition of a valuable work by Kumamoto’s renowned active doll maker, Kizaburo Matsumoto, titled “Statue of Kannon Bodhisattva”.

For those who don’t often visit temples, this is a great opportunity to come and explore the temple.

此外，熊本著名的活人形师松本喜三郎的珍贵作品《观世音菩萨菩萨立像》也在寺庙内常设展出。
