【荒尾市】荒尾マジャク釣り大会２０２４

家族連れに人気の釣り大会。

参加者には釣り具が支給され、初心者も楽しむことができます！

荒尾マジャク釣り大会は、2004年から開催されており、珍しい『マジャク釣り』を広く紹介することを目的としています。

今回の大会では、史上初の試みとして、「Ｍワングランプリ」を実施します。

このイベントでは、釣り上げたマジャクの重量を競います。

上位に入賞された方々には素敵な賞品を用意しています。

ラムサール条約湿地にも登録されている、日本最大の干潟でマジャク釣りをお楽しみください。

大会日程	令和６年６月２２日（土） ※予備日：令和６年６月２３日（日） 小雨決行。大雨は中止。釣り中でも雷が予想される場合は中止します。 中止の場合はＨＰに記事を掲載します。当日の判断がつかない場合は、荒尾漁協（0968-62-0023）にお問い合わせください。

Arao MAJAKU Fishing Tournament 2024

A popular fishing tournament for families.

Participants will be provided with fishing equipment, so even beginners can have fun!

The Arao Majaku Fishing Tournament has been held since 2004, and its purpose is to widely introduce the rare “Majaku fishing”.

At this tournament, the “M One Grand Prix” will be held for the first time in history.

In this event, participants compete for the weight of the majaku they caught.

We have prepared wonderful prizes for the top finishers.

Enjoy fishing for majaku in Japan’s largest tidal flat, which is also registered as a wetland under the Ramsar Convention.

Tournament Schedule	Saturday, June 22, 2024 *Reserve date: Sunday, June 23, 2024 A light rain event takes place. Heavy rain has been canceled. If lightning is expected while fishing, we will cancel. In case of cancellation, an article will be posted on the website. If you are unsure about the date, please contact the Arao Fisheries Association (0968-62-0023).

Start Fishing	13:00-15:30
Participant Parking Lot	Arao City Hall Parking Lot (10 minutes walk from the parking lot to the fishing venue)
Reception Location	Arao Fisheries Cooperative Association (27 Arao, Arao City, Kumamoto Prefecture)
Fishing Venue	Gather at the Arao Fisheries Association and head to the fishing grounds
Recruitment Capacity	600 people *Advance application required, recruitment will end once capacity is reached
What to Bring	○Hoe *1 ○Brush *2 ○Drinks ○Boots ○Towel ○Hat ○Rain gear ○ Majaku container (colander, etc.) ○Chairs (styrofoam light chairs for agriculture, etc.) *1. There will be no hoe rentals for this tournament. If you would like to try making your own kettle, please bring your own. *2. Brush will also be sold on the day. (330 yen per bottle)
