【津奈木町】小田原のどか 近代を彫刻／超克する—津奈木･水俣編

小田原のどか つなぎプロジェクト2024成果展

2008年から続く住民参画型アートプロジェクトの一環として、2023年に開始された「小田原のどかつなぎプロジェクト」は、地域社会とアートを通じて新たな対話を生み出しています。

1年目には、津奈木町の16点の野外彫刻を「候補者」として「彫刻選挙」を実施。
町内外の人々が投票を通じて、民主主義の「投票」について考える場を提供しました。

2年目には、津奈木町の田の神の石像や水俣市のモニュメント、 熊本県内の漫画を題材とした銅像を考察し、地域の文化的価値を住民と共に再発見しています。

この2年間の集大成として、考察結果を作品化して展示する本展では、1993年以降未刊のままとなっている『津奈木町誌』の下巻に関連する参加型作品も公開されます。

アートが地域の歴史と未来をつなぐ様子を体感できるこのプロジェクトは、アートと地域の新たな可能性を示しています。

【Tsunaki Town】Sculpting the Modern in Odawara – Tsunaki and Minamata Edition

Odawara Nodoka Tsunagi Project 2024成果展

As part of a community participatory art project that has been ongoing since 2008, the “Odawara Nodoka Tsunagi Project,” launched in 2023, is creating new dialogues through art and the local community.

In the first year, we conducted a “Sculpture Election” featuring 16 outdoor sculptures from Tsunaki Town as “candidates.” This initiative provided a space for people both within and outside the town to reflect on the concept of “voting” in a democracy.

In the second year, we examined stone statues of rice deities in Tsunaki Town, monuments in Minamata City, and bronze statues based on manga from Kumamoto Prefecture, rediscovering the cultural value of the region together with residents.

As a culmination of these two years, this exhibition will showcase the results of our explorations through participatory works, including pieces related to the unpublished second volume of the “Tsunaki Town History,” which has been pending since 1993.

This project, which allows you to experience how art connects the history and future of the region, demonstrates new possibilities for art and the community.

小田原的宁静连接项目2024成果展

第一年，我们进行了“雕塑选举”，展示了来自津奈木町的16件户外雕塑作为“候选者”。这一举措为镇内外的人们提供了反思民主“投票”概念的空间。

第二年，我们考察了津奈木町的田神石像、水俣市的纪念碑以及熊本县内以漫画为题材的铜像，和居民共同重新发现地区的文化价值。

作为这两年成果的总结，本次展览将展示我们的考察结果，并展出与自1993年以来未刊的《津奈木町志》下卷相关的参与型作品。
