世界中で愛され続けるミッフィーは、1997年に出版された絵本『うさこちゃん びじゅつかんへいく』で初めて美術館を訪れたときのワクワクや驚きを描いています。

本展覧会では、この絵本の世界観に合わせて当館の所蔵品を展示します。

さらに、ミッフィーの生みの親であり、オランダを代表する絵本作家・グラフィックデザイナー、ディック・ブルーナの作品も特集します。

ブルーナのシンプルながらも奥深い表現の秘密を探りながら、子どもから大人まで、ミッフィーと共に自由にアートの世界を楽しんでみませんか？

“What is a museum like? It seems interesting!”

Curiosity is sparked by the picture book character Miffy (Usako-chan).

Beloved around the world, Miffy first visited a museum in the 1997 picture book “Miffy Goes to the Museum,” where her excitement and surprise are beautifully captured.

This exhibition will display our collection in line with the world of this picture book.

Additionally, we will feature works by Miffy’s creator, the renowned Dutch picture book author and graphic designer Dick Bruna.

As we explore the secrets behind Bruna’s simple yet profound expressions, why not enjoy the world of art freely with Miffy, for both children and adults?
