【御船町】七滝

高さ約40メートル、幅約30メートルの滝で、阿蘇溶結凝灰岩と柱状節理が交互に見られ、その浸食差により7段に分かれて落下します。

この特徴的な形状から「七滝」と呼ばれています。

普段はその姿を見ることができませんが、毎年5月の第2日曜日に行われる「七滝神社例大祭」に合わせて滝が放流され、その雄姿が現れるため、「幻の滝」とも呼ばれています。

【Mifune Town】Nanadaki (Seven Falls)

The waterfall, with a height of about 40 meters and a width of approximately 30 meters, features alternating layers of Aso welded tuff and columnar jointing.

Due to the differences in erosion, the water cascades down in seven distinct tiers, giving the waterfall its name, “Nanadaki” (Seven Falls).

Normally, this breathtaking view is not visible, but once a year, during the “Nanadaki Shrine Grand Festival” on the second Sunday of May, the waterfall is released, and its majestic appearance can be seen.

For this reason, it is also referred to as the “Phantom Waterfall.”

【御船町】七滝

这座瀑布高约40米，宽约30米，阿苏熔结凝灰岩和柱状节理交替出现，由于侵蚀差异，水流形成七层跌落，因此被命名为“七滝”。

通常，这一壮观景象无法看到，但每年5月的第二个星期日，在“七滝神社例大祭”期间，瀑布会被放流，恢复其雄姿，因此也被称为“幻之瀑布”。
