【西原村】白糸の滝

数十万年前の火山岩からなる美しい滝。

別名「寄姫の滝」とも呼ばれ、熊本県平成の名水百選に選ばれています。
落差約20メートルの滝で、流れ落ちる水は、まるで白い糸のようにみえます。

【Nishihara Village】Shiraito Waterfall (Shiraito-no-Taki)

A beautiful waterfall formed from volcanic rocks dating back hundreds of thousands of years.

Also known as “Yorihime no Taki” (The Princess Yorihime Falls), it has been selected as one of Kumamoto’s “Heisei 100 Best Waters.”
