【阿蘇市】米塚

高さ約80mの田子山は、約3300年前の噴火によって形成された比較的新しい山です。

その特徴的な形状は、おわんを逆さまにしたような美しいシルエットで、頂上部分が大きくくぼんでいるのが印象的です。

山の斜面は柔らかな草原で覆われており、春から夏にかけては鮮やかな緑に染まり、素晴らしい景色が広がります。

なだらかで優雅な山の風景と、ススキが揺れる様子は、かつて「ススキの名所ランキング」で全国1位に選ばれたこともあります。

Tagoyama, standing at about 80 meters high, is a relatively young mountain formed by an eruption around 3,300 years ago.

Its distinctive shape resembles an upside-down bowl, with the summit having a large depression, making it a striking feature of the landscape.

The slopes are covered with soft grasslands, and from spring to summer, the mountain is blanketed in lush greenery, offering beautiful views.

The gentle, graceful slopes and the scenic vistas of pampas grass swaying in the breeze have earned it the top spot in the “Best Pampas Grass Locations Ranking” in Japan.
